As you know, the Easter Math Challenge took place on 27 March at Lotsane Senior Seconday School, in Palapye, Botswana. Students were happily willing to have their math knowledge tested.

Although the solution key is available on this website Ms. Sebaameng Samuel, Teaching Instructor of BIUST decided to meet the participants a second time in order to give a thorough explanation of the correct answer to every single question, to provide details of reasons why a certain solution is the correct one.

For students, learning from explanations helps them to understand the concept which is of utmost importance in mathematics. Hopefully, more similar events will follow at secondary schools in and around Palapye.
